First of all, apologies to anyone who was hoping to find a web site for one of the many pubs in South Wales that carry this name, or a Welsh arms dealer!
We decided to claim this domain name after the name of our basement bar, which was in turn named after Cardiff Arms Park (home of Cardiff Rugby Football Club) and the Cardiff Arms Hotel (which previously stood on that site) in our home town of (you guessed it!) Cardiff. I'm not going to provide a full history here; there's plenty of information on Wikipedia and elsewhere that you can get such information.
